Furniture Warranty – Bernardo Urbina Design
At Bernardo Urbina Design, we take great pride in crafting furniture that lasts. Each piece is made with care, and we stand behind its quality. To ensure your continued satisfaction, we offer a one-year limited warranty that applies to both built-in and freestanding pieces, whether installed or not, under the conditions outlined below.
What Our Warranty Covers
This warranty is designed to protect the original purchaser and applies to the original location of installation or delivery.
If any of our components or furniture pieces show a manufacturing defect within the warranty period, we will gladly repair or restore the item at no extra cost.
Our goal is always to offer professional, thoughtful service and long-term solutions that reflect our commitment to excellence and sustainability.
Hardware Coverage
Should any hardware—such as hinges, sliders, or handles—need replacement, we will make every effort to replace it with an identical or compatible part.
All replacements continue to be protected under the original warranty period.
Natural Stone & Solid Surface Materials
Quartz, Marble, Granite, Corian, and Others
These surfaces are covered by our warranty when permanently installed indoors.
Due to the unique nature of stone, slight variations in color and veining may occur and are part of what makes each piece beautiful and unique.
LED Lighting Components
We cover built-in LED lights, transformers, and connectors for 30 days. Due to potential fluctuations in the national power grid, we recommend using voltage regulators when possible.
This coverage includes defects in materials or workmanship, not issues caused by power surges or environmental factors.
What the Warranty Doesn’t Include (But We’re Here to Help With Advice!)
We believe in being transparent, and while our warranty is comprehensive, certain things fall outside its scope due to the nature of materials or conditions of use:
Natural differences in grain, texture, color, or finish in wood and stone.
Normal aging of upholstered furniture, including shifts in shape or firmness.
Damage from improper use, impact, accidents, or neglect.
Exposure to extreme environments (high humidity, direct sunlight, or outdoor conditions).
General wear and tear or lack of regular care.
Any unauthorized repairs or alterations.
Installation on surfaces that are not properly reinforced or prepped.

Best Placement for Your Furniture
For optimal longevity, place your furniture in areas with stable temperature and humidity, away from direct sunlight. This helps preserve the natural charm and durability of your materials.
Wood Care
Our woods are kiln-dried and treated to resist pests, ensuring lasting strength.
To maintain their beauty, avoid direct exposure to heat, moisture, or sunlight.
Use a dehumidifier in humid climates to maintain a stable environment.
Clean regularly with a dry microfiber cloth, or slightly dampened with water.
For stubborn spots, use a soft hand soap diluted in water.
Avoid harsh detergents, oils, and commercial waxes.
Melamine Care
Melamine is ideal for indoor use and simple to maintain.
Wipe with a soft damp cloth and dry immediately.
No need for harsh cleaners—just water and gentle care are enough.
Moisture-resistant melamine is more durable but still benefits from avoiding long-term exposure to moisture.
High-Pressure Laminate (Formica)
This decorative and sturdy material is easy to keep looking great.
Use water with mild detergent and a soft cloth.
Avoid placing hot items directly on the surface.
Clean up spills right away to preserve the smooth finish.
Fabric Care
Vinyls
Simple and sturdy—just wipe with a damp cloth. For tougher stains, use mild soap with water. Skip the oils and shine sprays.
Sunbrella
Brush off dirt, clean with a mix of water and mild soap using a soft brush, rinse well, and let air dry.

Most stains come out with just water! Apply, wait a few seconds, and rub gently in circles.

Quartz, Corian, and Marble Surfaces
Clean daily with pH-neutral dish soap and a non-abrasive sponge.
Wipe spills promptly to prevent marks.
Avoid letting cleaners sit on the surface for more than 5 minutes.

Acrylic Surfaces
